Cruiser Update: Gator Harley Davidson
The fifth Saturday is this weekend and you may be planning to attend the cruise-in at Gator Harley Davidson in Leesburg.
Due to the holiday weekend, this cruise-in has been cancelled.
The next month including a fifth Saturday is March.

Gobble, Gobble!!
Many people will be on the highway traveling this week. Whether you're joining us at the Daytona Beach Street Rods' Turkey Run in Daytona or heading out to visit family, here are some tips to keep in mind*:
Engine, oil, tires. Before you start your trip, make sure your vehicle is tuned up and in good shape for travel. This is especially important for winter driving conditions
Buckle up! Ensure that you and your passengers are properly restrained in seat belts and that children are secured in car safety seats. Remember, the rear seat is the safest place for children of any age to ride
Know your route. Be flexible in setting your travel plans. Leave early if you can to avoid the peak traffic hours. If heavy rain or snow is predicted during the time you plan to travel, change your schedule. It's better to reschedule your get-together than to risk the lives of your travel companions

Do not pass other cars on single-lane highways if you cannot see enough
clear road ahead to pass safely.
Have a sober driver.
If there will be drinking at your holiday get-together, choose a
designated driver who will remain alcohol free
Hands
off the mobile device! Because driving requires your full attention, pull
off the road if you have to use your cell phone

Got Toys? Got coats?
Bring new unwrapped toys and gently-used coats to the Downtown Winter Garden Cruz-In tomorrow, Saturday, November 16 and make a difference in someone's life.
Toys for older kids are always needed; bikes, bats/balls, footballs, soccer balls, board games, puzzles, etc.
Coats and jackets (gently-used) are appreciated and will be donated through a Winter Garden charity. Drop them off at the WJBJ sound booth parked on the corner of South Boyd Street and Plant Street.

Clarification: Drifters Concert & Car Show
It has come to the promoters attention that the flyer was not completely clear about the location of the car show on November 23rd. This car show is NOT at Jarrett Gordon Ford, they are on the top of the flyer as the lead sponsor of the event.
The location of the car show is the Haines City Auto Auction - 4890 US Highway 17/92 Haines City. Please pass this information along tot any friends and cruisers interested in attending.

Downtown Winter Garden Cruz-In - Third Saturday
Toy Drive has begun - Donate new unwrapped toys to the next two cruz-ins November 16 and December 21. Winter Garden Police will distribute them to local kids in need.
Coat Drive - Clear out the unwanted gently-used coats and jackets taking up space in your closet and help local folks in need. Bring them this Saturday, November 16! You can make a difference! Butch and I have collected coats from our closet to get this started, let's see how many we can collect on one night!!
We are off to a great start and want to make this year better than ever with toys and coats!

Can You Help?
Toy Drive - Bring toys, bikes and learning games to support this years toy collection at the Downtown Winter Garden Cruz-In. The collection continues on the third Saturday of November and December.
Winter Coats and Jackets - As we move into the fall and winter, many people in our local area will not have jackets and coats to stay warm during colder months. Butch and I went through our closets last weekend and found gently worn jackets to donate to a local Winter Garden charity collecting them to distribute to those in need. If you have any coats your would like to add to our collection, bring them with you to the Downtown WInter Garden Cruz-In next week.
